I enjoyed illustrating this character from a little story I was collaborating on about a pirate bear and his love for a deer maiden named Harmony Meadows. It was fun experimenting adding water to ink and seeing how the colours blended together in different ways. It gave a bit of a digital painting effect. Some day I should also continue the series with the fox pirate, the Red Nomad, and the small otter firstmate, Big Guss, and Mako Mandy, the shark quartermaster.
