I enjoyed watercolouring “My Museum” that I started collecting when I was about 8 years old in Germany. These represent beetles, bugs, and butterflies I have found already dead in several of the countries I have lived in and kept in my collector’s box. Science was, strangely enough, one of my favourite subjects in school. I love learning about God’s creation and using the gift He gave me to imitate His work on paper. Now some of these little winged beasts are properly displayed in shadow box frames on my wall, but by putting on my Beatrix Potter hat and painting them has also been a beautiful and personal way of preserving them.
