Beatrix Potter has always been a childhood favourite for her Peter Rabbit illustrations, and still is, but it has also been most interesting to me seeing many of her other artworks which show another side to her as being a naturalist illustrator. Since the 8th grade, I have developed a great fascination with the members of Kingdom Fungi and get unusually delighted when they are discovered in the garden. I had to paint some of these mushrooms, so nicely grown together, and hopefully will do a few more watercolours some time soon.
