In 2009 I drew this same picture of Lucy from Prince Caspian which I decided to mail to Georgie Henley along with a letter. I then drew the three other Pevensie siblings in the following year. As I wanted to have an original drawing of Lucy myself, I proceeded to create a replica of my first piece. It was really interesting to me working on a picture I had done before. Suddenly I was experiencing memories of drawing certain lines and running into the same struggles. But it was also really fascinating to see how I had improved in just over those two years. This stands as one of my favourite portraits I have done.
