I had been doing many things on commission for people during this time, and this was something that I wanted to draw for fun. This is Dan Stevens who plays the character of Matthew Crawley in the Downton Abbey series. I really loved this picture and was eager to draw it. I remember his portrait marking the end of my personal projects before I started university almost until I worked on my senior show pieces.
