This is a small portrait of my friend, Anna Munsell that I started during an instagram live video with her where we drew each other and answered questions. You can still watch it under my IGTV and see how I began my process and enjoy hearing Anna and me talk about art. The photo reference I used for this drawing was one I had taken myself during a fun photoshoot. Our families had known each other for a long time, but we really became friends from around the age of 12 when we were penpals and mailed little drawings we had done. A few autumns my family would visit them on their farm and we had a lot of fun drawing together, playing outside with the animals, and taking pictures. Since then we have remained much the same and always pick up where we left off when we see each other again. Anna was my Maid of Honour at my wedding as well. She will forever remain one of my dearest friends.
